To actively conduct inspections, maintenance and repairs of relevant aircraft structures, and adhering to flydubai and regulatory requirements, by taking into account safety, reliability and performance of aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures timely execution of all assigned tasks related to structures shops are executed as per targeted planned dates.
Provides critical support for structural tasks at outstations as required ensuring smooth operations at outstations.
Identifies the shortfalls and the requirements for tooling, equipment, safety, and technical data to ensure optimal operations.
Oversees the serviceability and reliability of equipment and tools pertaining to Structures Shop to minimize downtime.
Supports the structures team in troubleshooting and resolving complex aircraft structures repair tasks.
Ensures compliance with tool control procedures, relevant to the structures shop.
Cooperates during Quality Control (QC) inspections, as well as during internal and external audits.
Provides full support and cooperation during competence assessments to uphold the highest standards of proficiency.
Maintains high standards towards workshop housekeeping to ensure compliance with company policies and GCAA regulations.
Qualifications
Associate Degree (2 years)
Diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, instrumentation or chemical engineering.
Fluent in English
Minimum of 3 years in tasks related to structural repair
Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
Holding authorization for Plating/anodizing tasks - Preferred. Valid Driving License - Preferred. Recognized apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance engineering.
Minimum of 3 years' experience related to structural repairs.
