To strengthen our international team, we are looking for a WordPress Product Engineer, regardless of background, whether in development, system engineering, or product management, as long as you have solid knowledge of WordPress products and some experience with WordPress hosting.

Your Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and improve WordPress products, plugins, and hosting services

- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and product managers to define requirements and implement features

- Optimize WordPress hosting environments for performance, security, and scalability

- Conduct testing, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues in WordPress deployments

- Maintain documentation and technical specifications for WordPress products and hosting workflows

- Stay up-to-date with WordPress trends, hosting technologies, and product development best practices

Your Profile

- Practical experience or education in WordPress development, system engineering, or related fields

- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and hosting environments

- Basic experience with Linux server management, PHP, MySQL, and web hosting workflows

- Familiarity with automation, deployment, and monitoring tools is a plus

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team

- Fluent in English; German is a plus

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams
