Web Developer UI UX

Overview

We are seeking a versatile, highly responsive Web Developer to manage and optimize our digital presence across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role for a developer who can move seamlessly between WordPress, Squarespace, and other CMS environments to execute changes directly.

The ideal candidate has a sophisticated eye for clean, modern UI/UX and understands that proactive communication is the backbone of a successful remote partnership.

Schedule: 20 - 34 Hours per week, CA USA time zone

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Management: Execute updates and new builds across WordPress and Squarespace.
• Direct Execution: Take full ownership of technical changes from backend configuration to frontend styling.
• UI/UX Optimization: Refine website layouts to ensure a premium aesthetic and seamless user journey.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure all sites are responsive, fast, and mobile-optimized.

Communication & Response Standards

Reliability is the most critical component of this role. We require:

• High Responsiveness: Acknowledging and responding to requests within a few hours during standard working days.
• Proactive Reporting: Providing consistent status updates on active tasks without needing to be prompted.

1. 3 Live URLs: Examples of sites you personally implemented and coded (not just designed).
2. Performance/Design Proof: Before-and-after examples of sites you have improved (either via speed optimization or UI/UX overhauls).

Required Skills

• CMS Expertise: Advanced experience with WordPress and Squarespace.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Design Sensibility: A portfolio demonstrating a clean, modern, and professional aesthetic.
• Self-Management: Ability to track your own hours and milestones effectively.
