As a Warehouse Supervisor & Inventory Manager, you will be entrusted with the overall supervision and management of warehouse operations. Your primary role will focus on coordinating the activities involved in the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while ensuring that inventory levels are maintained effectively. In this dual role, you will lead a team to ensure that the warehouse operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company expectations. You'll utilize advanced inventory management systems to mitigate discrepancies and streamline stock control processes. Effective communication with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders will be crucial as you aim to enhance warehouse output and accuracy. This role suits a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills and a passion for optimizing warehouse operations.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure workflow efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for warehouse staff.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse employees to maintain high performance.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to align with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with corporate standards.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track products and discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to manage expectations and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on inventory trends and warehouse productivity.
  • Improve warehouse operational efficiencies through continuous process evaluation.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage annual physical inventory audits and adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and relational databases.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities under high-pressure conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve inventory processes and efficiencies.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to warehouse operations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting and financial planning related to inventory.
