The Warehouse Supervisor in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities including storage, inventory management, and distribution functions. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and organize storage and inventory systems for optimal space utilization.
• Supervise, lead, and train a team of warehouse staff members effectively.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods timely and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
• Implement and monitor warehouse KPI’s to evaluate performance and improve processes.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to warehouse operations.
• Develop and enforce efficient work practices to drive warehouse efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
• Prepare and submit operational reports and budgets to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role within FMCG.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best industry practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
