Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Operations Specialist to support inbound and outbound material handling activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to seamless logistics operations by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and collaboration across teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Receiving Inbound

  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, verifying quantities against purchase orders or delivery documentation.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods to designated storage areas.
  • Ensure proper documentation of received goods and maintain accurate records in systems.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns to relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with the quality team to make materials available for incoming inspection.
  • Support system booking, printing, and allocation of storage locations for finished goods tools.

Handling Outbound

  • Accurately pick materials based on order requirements and prepare shipments.
  • Pack, label, mark, and stencil outbound shipments in accordance with standards.
  • Operate equipment to load materials securely onto transport vehicles.
  • Perform material segregation for internal and third-party inspections.
  • Maintain organized storage of materials based on warehouse layout and processes.
  • Capture and share product or shipment photographs when required.

Others

  • Support inter-business unit (BU) material transfers and demo material handling.
  • Participate in warehouse housekeeping, cleanup, and reorganization initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as needed.
  • Conduct safety audits for racks and warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure full compliance with Emerson’s ethical standards and trade compliance policies.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in business, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.
  • 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse processes, inventory control, and documentation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Certification in supply chain management or a related discipline.
  • Valid forklift operating certification and hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve warehouse workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices in a warehouse setting.
