Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the overall operations of the warehouse. They receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space. The Warehouse Assistant also supports inventory management and ensures proper documentation of all warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.
• Store materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare orders for shipment and load/unload delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock reconciliation and reordering.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill product orders and resolve issues.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain warehouse security.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate warehouse equipment.
