1.1 Job Scope Summary

Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager the Storekeeper is responsible for the organization and maintaining of the Warehouse by purchasing, receiving, and storing spare and wear parts but also tools and consumables. The use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a key function in his daily work.

1.2 Job Responsibilities

• Takes an active role in working with the operations and maintenance personnel in prioritizing work to be done and in coordinating activities with maintenance.
• Review timeliness of schedules deliveries
• Tracks inventory levels
• Order new supplies in a timely manner
• Ensure that the facility equipment is properly maintained, especially tools.
• Sets up and pre-stages parts from the warehouse and helps in finding and retrieving parts from the warehouse to expedite work.
• Maintains CMMS records and is preparing the request of purchasing for spare- and wear parts.

Annual inventorty of all parts, consumables and tools.

1.3 Educational/Professional Qualifications/Training Certifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or GED, and an apprenticeship or electronic technical school diploma
• 1.4 Job Experience
• Must be knowledgeable and experience in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Atleast 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
