We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Waiter to deliver exceptional service and ensure outstanding guest experiences at CLAP Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hospitality service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Engage actively with guests to gather feedback and drive positive, lasting impressions
• Deliver orders and food dishes following the department Standard Operating Procedures
• Build positive relationships with guests through attentive, personalized, and seamless service
• Handle guest requests, enquiries, and minor complaints professionally and courteously, escalating to head waiter or any supervisory role when needed
  
  

• Master the premium menu to confidently explain dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Offer personalized menu recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs
• Actively promote seasonal items, beverage options, and special menu offerings to enhance the dining experience
• Upsell thoughtfully and authentically to drive sales while respecting guest choices
  
  

• Take food and beverage orders accurately, taking absolute ownership of dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests
• Communicate all special requests clearly to the restaurant management and confirm understanding before departing
• Verify order accuracy before service and flag any discrepancies immediately to head waiter or any supervisory role
• Ensure no allergies or dietary needs are overlooked in service delivery
  
  

• Coordinate with team members and head waiter to provide seamless, synchronized service
• Respond to coaching, feedback, and guidance from head waiter or any supervisory role during service
• Relay guest preferences and special requests to head waiter, any supervisory role or the reception team
  
  

• Prepare and maintain all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment for your section
• Keep your section spotlessly clean and organized throughout service hours
• Complete opening and closing duties as outlined in the daily checklist
• Handle bill payments efficiently and accurately, with head waiter oversight
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in fine dining service.
• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house service experience in high-volume, fine dining, or luxury hospitality venues.
• Proven experience in a similar position.
• Advanced knowledge of service protocols, dining etiquette, and international service standards.
• Strong understanding of food, wine, and beverage offerings and the ability to guide guests through offerings confidently.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and guest-facing skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and late nights as required.
