Job Description

The candidate has to manage the Trade team in UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) and manage the UAE budget in line with the approved financials, meet various stakeholders from Business (CIBG, FI, RBG, GTB) on periodic basis as Trade representative, track the productivity of Trade teams and suggest improvements / ideas working with the Trade Operations Head and Transformation Head.
Position will be Managing the Trade UAE Team (FTC and RPC Abu Dhabi) including UAE National staff
To track, manage the Trade UAE budget and Closely monitor financial

to ensure the same is within the yearly targets

Manage the relationship with Business stakeholders for all segments (CIBG, FI, RBG, GTB) and meet them on a periodic basis to track and address concerns related to Trade in onshore and offshore
Arrange and chair periodic calls with Mashreq Rep offices (Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal) to address issues / concerns related to operations
Regularly track productivity and SPTs of all Trade processes and suggest improvements / ideas of process improvements to bring in reduced TATs for end customers
Represent Trade along with respective managers in IBG Monthly Governances calls held by Country Ops Managers
Represent Trade Operations in meeting with Local UAE Regulators and Central Bank officials during their visits for Trade
Graduate with thorough and in depth Business understanding of Trade Finance products and functions.
Understanding of Trade Finance and Financial Operating Systems.
Minimum of 20+ years experience in Banking and Trade Finance with at least 12 years of Managing Teams.

Good Communications and interpersonal skills.
