Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and medical procedures to treat injuries or illnesses in animals.
• Diagnose animal health problems through physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medication and detailed treatment plans for various animal conditions.
• Conduct routine health checks and administer vaccinations to prevent diseases.
• Advise pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and general health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
• Supervise and mentor junior veterinary staff and veterinary technicians.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
• Ensure the clinic complies with all veterinary medical standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with advances in veterinary care.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive animal care.
• Prepare and deliver informative presentations to educate pet owners and the community.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Valid veterinary license to practice .
• At least two years of experience working as a veterinary surgeon preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills in a veterinary setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with pet owners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative veterinary team.
