Veterinary Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

✅ Prepare, dispense, and label medications accurately according to veterinary prescriptions

✅ Counsel pet owners on medication usage, administration, storage, and potential side effects

✅ Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure regulatory compliance

✅ Manage medication inventory, stock rotation, expiry checks, and controlled drugs

✅ Coordinate closely with veterinarians and nursing teams to ensure timely medication supply

✅ Receive and reconcile medication deliveries and supplier invoices

✅ Support inventory audits, stock counts, and pharmacy process improvements

✅ Deliver excellent customer service while handling medication-related inquiries

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

✔ Degree in Pharmacy with relevant professional licensing/eligibility

✔ Previous veterinary pharmacy experience preferred (human pharmacy experience also considered)

✔ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dispensing procedures, and inventory management

✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills

✔ High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment

✔ Experience with pharmacy, inventory, or practice management software is an advantage
