Job Description

As a Vendor Operations Associate, you play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the relationships with our vendors by ensuring smooth and effective operational processes. You will oversee the end-to-end vendor operations, which includes onboarding new vendors, managing existing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your main goal will be to optimize vendor performance by identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses excellent communication skills to manage vendor collaborations effectively. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the vendor onboarding process, including documentation and compliance checks.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with vendors to ensure seamless product and service delivery.
  • Analyze vendor performance metrics and produce detailed reports to assess efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align vendor operations with business goals.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on company operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of vendor agreements, contracts, and transactions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of vendor services to ensure high standards.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with organizational vendor management policies and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors through effective communication and support.
  • Identify risks in vendor operations and develop plans to mitigate them effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management or related operational role preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
