We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair operations on company vehicles to ensure their optimum performance and reliability. You will diagnose issues, conduct inspections, and utilize your technical skills to carry out necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other team members to deliver high-quality service efficiently. A successful candidate must be well-versed in various aspects of automotive systems and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics to accurately identify mechanical issues.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity and safety.
• Utilize advanced equipment and tools to execute repairs and replacements.
• Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and maintenance tasks completed.
• Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper functioning post-repair.
• Collaborate with team members to expedite repair processes and optimize workflows.
• Order and replace vehicle parts as needed to complete repair jobs.
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior mechanics or apprentices.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repairs to clients.
• Stay updated with new automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the repair facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto mechanics preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a plus.
