Job Description

As a Van Sales Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales performance by managing and optimizing the van sales operations. This position involves taking charge of sales target achievement, customer relationship management, and exploring new business opportunities while on the road. You will be the face of the company, directly interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction through effective sales and service. The role requires a highly energetic and motivated individual who can thrive under pressure and is willing to travel extensively to meet clients. Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by managing van operations effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive sales growth.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Ensure the van is always stocked with the necessary products for daily sales operations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and suggest strategies to counter potential threats.
  • Provide timely reports and feedback to the sales management team on sales activities.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close the sale, maintaining company profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Keep informed of new products and services offered by the company.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales representative, preferably in van sales or similar roles.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, as necessary.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close sales in a competitive market.
  • High school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer relationships efficiently.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude towards achieving sales targets.
  • Effective time management skills to optimize van route and sales activities.
  • Understanding of basic financial principles related to pricing and profitability.
