Job Description

A Van Sales Executive plays an integral role in the sales and distribution strategy of a company by focusing on direct selling to customers from a van. This position requires a dynamic individual who has excellent communication skills and a passion for sales. The Van Sales Executive is responsible for maximizing product sales, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves travel within designated territories, meeting institutional and individual clients, and building strong relationships to improve sales volumes. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, understanding customer needs, and identifying market trends. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.


Responsibilities

  • Drive the van safely, following all traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential customers and approach them with relevant sales opportunities.
  • Ensure all products are accurately displayed and presented to customers.
  • Execute daily sales targets and objectives promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update the customer database with accurate sales information.
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and order processing in a timely manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure the van is appropriately stocked with products.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports and documentation to the sales manager.
  • Collaborate with the distribution and sales teams for coordinated efforts.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness to uphold company image standards.
  • Gather and report competitor information and market conditions to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in van sales, retail, or a similar sales role preferred.
  • Proficiency in driving and a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
