Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Van Sales Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our sales operations, traveling to various locations and showcasing our products directly to our valued customers. As a Van Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our goods reach clients efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to our overall sales growth. This role offers a combination of fieldwork and business strategy, perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people and has a passion for driving sales. Responsibilities

  • Drive the van to various locations to promote and sell company products.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods for delivery to ensure efficiency.
  • Engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer suitable products.
  • Maintain daily records of sales and cash transactions meticulously and accurately.
  • Ensure that the van is well-maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary products.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Report and communicate daily sales activities and reports to the sales manager.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to drive advantage.
  • Manage returns of damaged or unsold goods with proper documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers and increase sales potential.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding sales and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is required for this position.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a mandatory requirement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing sales records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
