Truck Driver

A Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations within the UAE. The role requires a strong understanding of UAE road regulations, route planning, and vehicle handling. The ideal candidate should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing delivery schedules efficiently. This position involves long-distance driving, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations across the UAE
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments as per schedule
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports
• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring no damage during transit
• Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and reduce fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatchers and logistics teams regarding delivery status
• Ensure proper documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, and permits
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays immediately to management
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle
• Adhere to UAE transport and safety compliance standards

Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License
• Proven experience as a truck driver within the UAE
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations
• Ability to handle long-distance driving and flexible working hours
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong sense of responsibility and time management skills
• Ability to read and understand delivery documents
• Good communication skills (basic English required; Arabic is a plus)
