Job Description
A Transport and Valet Supervisor with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts provides consistently-delivered exceptional customer service to guests, particularly in relation to the parking and safety of vehicles and assisting with guest queries.
What Will I Be Doing
Overall, the Transport and Valet Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of valet parking operations to ensure a positive experience for guests and efficient operations. As a Transport and Valet Supervisor, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Supervising Valet team, including training, scheduling and performance management.
Ensuring excellent guest service by monitoring Valet Attendants interactions with guests, handling customer complaints or issues and providing assistance as needed.
Overseeing the day-to-day valet parking operations, including managing vehicle flow, organizing parking spaces and ensuring efficient parking procedures.
Offer a consistent, high standard service and assistance to guests and maintain a door presence that offers courteous and attentive service
Ensure that the Front Office Manager/Chief Concierge are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either guests or other departments
Communicate with Security regarding any unattended vehicle
Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of both guests and Valet Team/ This includes implementing safety training, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Monitoring and managing equipment and supplies necessary for valet operations, such as parking tickets, signage, and safety equipment.
Keeping accurate records of daily operations, including vehicle counts, revenue and any incidents that occur. Providing reports to management as needed.
Coordinating with other departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations, such as coordinating with the front desk or event planners for special events.
Conducting regular inspections to ensure that valet services meet quality standards and address any issues or areas for improvement.
Monitoring revenue and expenses related to valet operations, identifying opportunities to increase revenue or reduce costs, and assisting with budget planning as needed.
What Are We Looking For
A Transport and Valet Supervisor serving Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel, premium valet service, or transportation operations role.
Proven leadership in managing valet and transportation teams, including drivers, doormen, and valet attendants.
Strong knowledge of vehicle handling, guest arrival/departure protocols, and transportation logistics.
Excellent understanding of luxury service standards and the importance of first and last impressions.
Familiarity with traffic flow management, parking systems, and safety procedures.
Hands-on experience in coordinating limousine services, shuttle schedules, and VIP transfers.
Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving luxury vehicles is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for efficiency and detail.
Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with high-profile guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.
