Our Deals practice helps clients navigate complex transactions and strategic decisions, from planning through execution. We provide insights and solutions that enable organizations to create value, manage risks, and achieve sustainable growth in a dynamic market environment. 

Business Unit Overview

The Valuations & Economics team provides independent valuation and economic advisory services to support transactions, regulatory requirements, and strategic decision-making. We help clients understand the value of businesses, assets, and intellectual property, and assess economic impacts in a rapidly changing market. 

How You’ll Contribute

As a Valuations & Economics Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Performing valuations of businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments for transactions, financial reporting, and regulatory purposes 
  • Developing and reviewing financial models, including discounted cash flow and market-based approaches 
  • Conducting economic and industry research to support valuation assumptions 
  • Preparing high-quality valuation reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders 
  • Collaborating with tax, legal, and other advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions 
  • Supporting business development activities through research and proposal contributions 
  • Managing day-to-day engagement tasks and ensuring timely delivery of workstreams 
  • Coaching junior team members and sharing technical knowledge 
  • Driving quality and efficiency in engagement delivery 
  • Upholding PwC’s values and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture 
What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in valuations, corporate finance, or economic advisory 
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; masters degree is a plus 
  • Professional qualification such as CFA, ASA, or equivalent preferred 
  • Strong technical knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial modelling 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage 
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Your flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis, and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients
