Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Training Specialist - Security to join the resort’s Security team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Assist in designing and updating training curricula for security and crisis management.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and refresher courses for new hires and existing staff.
• Support the implementation of lesson plans and standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate CPR/AED and First Aid training for Security Operations teams.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and guest speakers.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and progress.
• Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support the Field Training Officer (FTO) program through onboarding and curriculum execution.
• Assist in organizing departmental training for policy updates and operational changes.
• Ensure training programs meet professional standards and Wynn Service expectations.
• Work closely with Security Operations to identify training needs and gaps.
• Participate in hiring processes, including assessments and onboarding support.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for off-property training programs.
• Manage inventory and ordering of training and medical supplies.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Education, Hospitality Management)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably in security or hospitality.
• Experience in the UAE; prior work as a security trainer or in a related field.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts based on operational needs.
