Purpose of the role:
Assess new product and procedure development, patient selection criteria development, patient screening, and early clinical imaging training/case support for both novel and iterative devices.
How youll make an impact:
Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations
Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis of one imaging modality for one therapy for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases for early feasibility and clinical study candidates or commercial case support
Collaborate with Commercial case support teams, or NPD team and HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocols.
Manage the full screening process by updating the information in the patient shared databases (Salesforce and Sharepoint), assign the tasks to the appropriate internal and external contributor, monitor the advancement and request updates
Lead one imaging modality for one therapy screening review calls with Field Clinical Specialist and circulate appropriate screening evaluation documentation."

What youll need:
Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in in biological or life sciences, animal science, or other related scientific or technical field,
3 years years’ experience of previous in-hospital and/or industry clinical echocardiographic experience Required or
Other: in certification in RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) within ARSMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification , OR
5 years’ experience of previous related experience Required
Fluent English required
What else we look for::
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Good imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.)
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English
Able to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs
Strong knowledge of one relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g. 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.) and screening methodology of one therapy
Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
Strict attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
