Job Description

Our client, a company operating in the industrial and real-time systems sector, is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to lead system and software verification and validation activities as part of a strategic software development program in the guided transportation sector.

The client develops advanced supervision platforms combining IT/OT, artificial intelligence, and real-time processing. They operate in multi-technical and high-criticality environments, supporting industrial applications and transportation systems.

Responsibilities

Define test strategies at software, integration, and system levels

Prepare test cases and scenarios

Automate tests where relevant

Execute test campaigns and analyze results

Identify, document, and track defects

Collaborate closely with development, quality, and safety teams

Write test reports and summaries

Participate in technical reviews and quality audits

Profile / Requirements

Candidate Profile

Around 3 years of experience in system or software testing for safety-critical applications

Experience in critical environments (rail, aerospace, defense, etc.)

Strong ability to produce clear and compliant technical documentation

Solid programming experience

Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit

Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink

Familiarity with critical system standards and SIL levels
