Teppanyaki Chef - DRC Congo Africa

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Teppanyaki dishes on the grill, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
• Engage with guests, demonstrating cooking techniques and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Assist in menu development and ingredient selection tailored to Teppanyaki cuisine.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Manage inventory and ordering of Teppanyaki-specific ingredients.
  
  

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Teppanyaki Chef or in a similar role specializing in Japanese cuisine.
• Strong skills in Teppanyaki cooking techniques and presentation.
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards.
• Ability to engage positively with guests and create a memorable dining experience.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to relocate to the Democratic Republic of Congo for this position.
