Temperature Control Technician (HVAC)

The Temperature Control Technician (HVAC) is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal temperature regulation and indoor air quality across commercial and residential facilities. Working in compliance with UAE climate control standards and safety regulations, the technician ensures the efficient operation of HVAC equipment and supports preventative maintenance programs to minimize system downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Installing and commissioning HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units, ductwork, and thermostats.

• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.

• Diagnosing malfunctions in heating and cooling systems and performing necessary repairs.

• Adjusting and calibrating temperature control systems for energy efficiency and comfort.

• Responding promptly to service requests and emergency repair calls in a timely manner.

• Monitoring and reporting on HVAC performance and recommending system upgrades when required.

• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local UAE HVAC codes and regulations.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.

• Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts.

• Coordinating with facility managers, contractors, and other technicians on job requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in HVAC Technology or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong understanding of UAE climate control standards and building regulations.

• Proven expertise in HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus.

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage for mobile maintenance roles.

• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
