A Telesales Representative is a crucial component of a company's sales team, primarily responsible for increasing sales by promoting products or services over the phone. Responsibilities

  • Gather customer feedback and report suggestions to the sales manager for improvements.
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing activities to convert them into sales.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of company products and industry trends.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor specific solutions to address those requirements.
  • Complete accurate and reliable sales reports for management review.
  • Handle customer objections and efficiently resolve complaints when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize performance and meet organizational goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while conducting telesales activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a telesales or related sales position is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade customers effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle objections tactfully.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales quotas consistently.
