Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the sales efforts of a company by initiating outbound calls to potential clients and customers. The aim is to promote and sell products or services, either to generate significant revenue or to secure appointments for further detailed discussions with sales representatives. This role requires strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to handle objections while maintaining a professional demeanor. Working as a Telesales Executive, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining customer relationships and will need to meet and exceed sales targets through online communication channels. The position often complements other sales and marketing efforts and requires a proactive and enthusiastic approach to sales.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage outbound telephone calls to prospective customers daily.
  • Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations to potential clients over the phone.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company products and services.
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support over telephone interactions.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Document customer information accurately in the company's CRM software.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance retention and loyalty.
  • Handle customer objections effectively to convert interest into sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and market trends.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and competitors’ offerings.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and persuasive abilities over the phone.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections tactfully.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Goal-oriented personality with a proactive approach to meeting targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
