Job Description

The Telesales Executive is a crucial component of our sales team, responsible for reaching out to potential customers and closing sales over the phone. This role requires an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a passion for sales. As a Telesales Executive, you will be tasked with identifying leads, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions to contribute to the company's revenue growth. Your ability to build rapport and maintain customer relationships over the phone will be key to success in this position. You will work closely with other sales team members and report to the Telesales Manager, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate telephonic contact with potential customers from provided leads or lists.
  • Understand customer requirements to provide appropriate product or service recommendations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by closing sales efficiently and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ongoing clients for future sales opportunities.
  • Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest in the past.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure engagement efficacy and transparency.
  • Update CRM system regularly with customer interactions, sales progress, and feedback.
  • Deliver scripts to present products or services directly over the phone.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and accurately to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Track personal sales and provide weekly reports to the Telesales Manager.
  • Attend meetings to discuss strategies, performance, and improvement opportunities with the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales role in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective sales transactions.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospective clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to successfully close sales deals over the phone.
  • Persistent and results-driven with a customer-oriented approach towards sales.
  • Ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
