Job Description

A Telesales Consultant plays a crucial role in the sales department, leveraging telephone communication to reach potential clients and drive sales. This position involves engaging with customers, answering their queries, fulfilling their needs, and ultimately converting leads into customers. Our company is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for persuasion, an understanding of sales techniques, and an ability to build rapport with customers over the phone. This role requires a balance of professional efficacy and personal warmth. A Telesales Consultant must be detail-oriented and excel in converting insights from customer interactions into actionable business growth strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce products or services.
  • Follow up on leads and manage the full telesales cycle effectively.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships over the phone.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets as per the company's goals.
  • Keep accurate records of calls, customer contact details, and sale information.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any product-related issues promptly.
  • Continuously update knowledge of product information, company services, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of telesales strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to management to help refine sales approaches and improve client experience.
  • Participate in training and coaching sessions to enhance telesales expertise and skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a telesales or phone-based customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong persuasive ability.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales certification is a plus.
