The Telesales Agent (Job Code: 18M26) is a pivotal role within our sales department, focusing on reaching out to potential customers via telephone calls. Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calling to engage potential customers and inform them about product offerings.
  • Deliver detailed product explanations to potential buyers, highlighting benefits and features.
  • Develop and maintain a customer relationship management database for follow-ups.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets consistently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Handle objections effectively and convert them into closed sales through persistence.
  • Follow prescribed sales scripts and adapt communication techniques as required.
  • Provide feedback to the sales manager regarding customer needs and product improvements.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, product training sessions, and workshops.
  • Monitor market competition to offer the best solutions and products to clients.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record keeping of all sales interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance collective performance and drive revenues.
  • Resolve customer questions and complaints promptly and with a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in telesales or customer service is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in prior roles.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the capability to persuade and close sales.
  • Proficient in using computer software including CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing daily targets.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
