Job Description

The Tele Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in the sales department by driving sales and effectively communicating with potential clients over the phone. This customer-oriented position requires excellent communication skills, persuasive selling abilities, and the resilience to handle customer rejections. The Tele Sales Executive is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, soliciting sales over the phone, and maintaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services. They must be able to build rapport with clients and convert inquiries into sales, while also ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients, presenting products and services effectively.
  • Identify and generate sales leads through targeted outreach and customer research.
  • Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients for repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
  • Maintain a detailed log of relevant customer information and sales interactions in the CRM system.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training workshops to continually improve sales skills.
  • Handle customer objections and provide solutions to overcome sales resistance efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide accurate feedback to the product team for potential service improvements.
  • Follow up rigorously with potential leads to ensure conversion into sales.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and provide support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tele sales or a similar customer service role for effective job performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clients.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining a positive and persuasive approach.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and telephony systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in logging client interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently over time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or related field is a plus.
