Technician - Diagnostic

Job Description

Diagnose job assigned, vehicles for requirements. Ensuring quality by producing extremely low level of return jobs. Ensure the explanation of the work done or required to be done is well understood by other technicians, Service Advisor, Supervisor and customers. Undertake great effort to improve efficiency by providing constructive inputs regarding work methods, work environment, tools and equipment etc. Suggest training needs for other technicians; also undergo training and update self-knowledge.

Strategic

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Support junior technicians for complicated complaints.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
  
  

People Management

• Conduct On Job Training to develop their skill sets.
  
  

Product/Process Improvement

• Support Workshop manger to identify potential requirements for the smooth operations.
  
  

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or equivalent certificate.
  
  

Knowledge & Skill

• Candidate should have sound knowledge in modern vehicles available in the market.
• Able to read, understand, speak and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions.
• Ability to use the diagnostic equipment to inspect Engine, Transmission, Brake, suspension A/C electrical and hybrid system of the vehicles.
  
  

Experience

• Min 2-3 years of Experience in the same field with multi band experience.
• UAE D/L is must.
• Experienced in multi brands cars is a definite advantage.
