Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive user manuals and technical documentation for products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather technical specifications and requirements.
• Create visually appealing graphics and diagrams to accompany textual content.
• Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all materials.
• Conduct usability testing to ensure documentation is user-friendly and effective.
• Stay updated with industry trends to ensure documentation aligns with best practices.
• Develop online help systems and FAQs to support customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with product managers to align documentation with product release schedules.
• Utilize content management systems to organize and publish documentation online.
• Train and mentor other writers or team members on documentation standards and techniques.
• Gather customer feedback to continuously improve documentation quality and relevance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements within the documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or related field required.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in a technology environment.
• Superior writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into layman’s terms.
• Proficiency with content management systems and documentation tools like MadCap Flare.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Visio is a plus.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for innovation.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle and software development documentation.
