About KSLA:

KSLA is the local CBS affiliate within Shreveport, Louisiana, that supports viewers across Northern Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. We are also affiliates for Telemundo and several other television networks. We support our area with daily local news and a strong presence on over-the-top streaming services on the Internet.

Job Summary/Description:

The Technical Media Producer (TMP) will provide direct support for automated live newscasts and automated commercial insertion systems across four different networks provided to over-the-air broadcasts.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Should be familiar with Ross Overdrive newscast automation
• Should be familiar with commercial automation systems (Digital Broadcast in use here)
• Should be familiar with EAS operations logging and FCC compliance, as well as monitoring/management of commercial logs
• Should be available to work weekends and/or fill in for vacations as requested by the TMP Supervisor
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• The applicant should have live newscast experience as well as master control commercial automation experience.
• Great communication skills and problem-solving abilities under pressure. The ability to read/write/communicate in Spanish is a plus
• Experience in the use of the following vendor systems: AP ENPS, Ross Overdrive, Digital Broadcast, VizRT, BitCentral, and remote camera systems.
