Job Purpose

Enable the company to become a preferred contractor / ESCO in the Energy efficiency & optimization business domain. Responsible for sales and profitability growth across the business sectors and geographical locations within the UAE.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide the vision organizational strategy and focus to implement the Energy Program for advancing energy management efforts throughout the portfolio including energy conservation programs
  • Provide the leadership for the portfolio wide energy management plans and integrate the processes into facilities and project management operations
  • Serve as the internal leader and go to expert for energy management monitoring emerging trends programs and issues communicating and educating others on relevant topics
  • Evaluate Energy options present recommendations and implement programs for reducing energy and utility usage and the associated costs
  • Maintain knowledge of available energy and utility incentive programs analyze projects in relation to total life cost and prepare proposals for presentation to our client
  • Facilitate a portfolio wide energy benchmarking programs
Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
  • Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) &/or, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is desirable.

Experience

  •  Must have minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience of HVAC &/or Building Controls &/or ESPC experience (in ESCO).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in engineering and energy savings calculations for performance contracting projects, with a strong foundation in M&V protocols and guidelines (FEMP, IPMVP).
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience leading teams of Energy Engineers.
  • Proven ESCO technical knowledge and expertise in energy efficiency technologies and solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Experience in developing and implementing energy efficiency projects, including feasibility studies, project planning, and execution.
  • Effective face-to-face and virtual presentation, influencing, communicating, and negotiating skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with effective business management.
  • Efficient task management, collaboration, and organizational skills for both physical and virtual teams.
  • Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
