Yellow Door Energy is continuing to build its technical network across the Middle East and Africa, and we are keen to connect with experienced professionals across renewable energy engineering, technical design, grid connection and power systems.

Our work spans solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid and off-grid solutions, supporting projects from early technical development and design through grid connection, delivery, commissioning and operational performance.

Areas of interest

We are particularly interested in professionals with experience across one or more of the following:

• Solar PV and BESS technical design
• Technical design assurance and engineering standards
• Grid connection and interconnection engineering
• Power-system studies and simulation
• LV, MV and HV electrical systems, protection and substations
• Grid codes, utility requirements and technical approvals
• Energy yield analysis and performance modelling
• Technical due diligence and project engineering
• Technical governance, design authority and technical leadership
  
  

Depending on the opportunity, relevant experience may include tools such as PVsyst, SolarGIS, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS/E, AutoCAD or other technical design and power-system platforms.

We welcome interest from experienced engineers, specialists, managers, heads of function and senior technical leaders working within renewable energy developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, utilities or specialist engineering consultancies.

Relevant backgrounds may include hands-on technical specialists as well as professionals with broader responsibility for design assurance, technical standards, engineering governance, technical strategy or team leadership.
