Support the preparation, deployment, maintenance, and technical support of robotic systems. The role involves preparing robots for demos and deliveries, conducting SLAM mapping, supporting customers onsite and remotely, maintaining showroom robots, assisting with safe robot handling, and creating technical documentation and support materials.
Key Responsibilities
1. Robot Preparation & Deployment
Prepare, configure, test, and perform pre-delivery checks on robots before demos, rentals, and customer handovers.
Coordinate with sales and operations on demo and delivery schedules and resolve technical issues before deployment.
Conduct SLAM mapping at customer sites and configure navigation parameters according to the environment.
2. Customer & Technical Support
Provide onsite and remote support for robot setup, operation, navigation, and troubleshooting.
Guide customers step by step on correct robot usage and basic issue resolution.
Record support cases, follow up on unresolved issues, and escalate complex technical problems to the CTO with clear findings and notes.
3. Robot Maintenance & Showroom Readiness
Conduct routine checks, cleaning, charging, software checks, and minor repairs to keep showroom robots fully operational and demo-ready.
Identify and report hardware or software faults requiring further repair or replacement.
4. Packing, Handling & Logistics Support
Assist with the safe packing, loading, unloading, and movement of robots for deliveries, exhibitions, and projects.
Ensure robots are properly protected during transportation and guide supporting staff on correct handling procedures.
5. Technical Documentation & Training Material
Prepare setup guides, operating instructions, troubleshooting FAQs, and other technical documentation.
Record how-to and troubleshooting videos for common customer and internal support requirements.
Maintain and update the technical documentation and support video library for the team.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Basic understanding of robotics hardware, software, sensors, navigation, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge or willingness to learn SLAM mapping and autonomous robot navigation.
Ability to understand technical manuals and learn new robotic systems quickly.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable providing customer-facing technical support and explaining technical processes clearly.
Basic knowledge of networking, software configuration, and robot connectivity is an advantage.
Able to handle and move robotic equipment safely and support onsite deployments.
Organized, responsible, and able to maintain accurate technical and support records.
