- Enhancing the funded & non-funded asset base for Business Banking.
- Enhancing the revenue derived from trade finance for Business Banking.
- Enhancing Trade penetration in line with the Trade strategy for Business Banking.
- Identify trade potential existing clients & support RM’s in selling trade products.
- Update Knowledge on the new developments /rules & regulations at trade front
- Ensure minimum TAT’s with support units as per the SLA and within the units to ensure service excellence.
- Act as direct client point of contact for organization of all Trade transactions in Business Banking
- Identify, develop, enhance and maintain relationship with new and existing trade customers of Business Banking
- Prepare the relationship plans based on classification of all Business Banking Trade customers into High, Medium, Low priority in terms of Trade Business potential.
- Implement a structured calling program to give effect to the relationship plan pertaining to Trade customers.
- Ensure provision of high quality and timely trade service to clients by providing appropriate trade solutions and working with internal partners for a seamless trade service delivery.
- To grow bank’s trade assets and revenues by identifying trade opportunities in conjunction with RM team.
- Deliver initiatives with stakeholders to continuously improve products and process, achieving product excellence for the bank’s customers.
- Provide deal structuring expertise internally and externally to ensure that new transactions are operationally workable, consistent, with the bank’s strategy and acceptable from a risk and return perspective.
- Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key product service initiatives and more cost-effective delivery channels.
- Improve overall trade service readiness across entire Business Banking portfolio through improved penetration of trade enable online banking.
- Review, evaluate and manage risks on trade transactions to ensure adherence to the bank’s risk framework and country regulations.
- To be conversant with the full range of SME Banking products with special emphasis on trade products
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years relevant banking experience preferably in Trade Sales or Relationship management.
- Demonstrable success in Trade Sales and Business Development.
- In-depth understanding of Trade Finance products and sound understanding of the board range of transaction services products.
- Broad awareness of market trends and industry developments and the ability to drive changes and developments.
Comprehensive understanding of industry and regulatory standards e.g. relevant UCP, ICC rules and SWIFT
