Team Leader

Job Description

Provide support to technicians to complete the assigned jobs of the vehicles in high quality standards. Perform ground level technical inspection on body repair and paint job completed vehicles to ensure vehicle quality meet as per AG Cars standards. Ensure to maintain 5S/HSE standards throughout the work in progress period.

Strategic

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and guide team of painters and panel beaters to produce required no. of vehicles for the month.
• Manage team of technicians work efficiency and assist them wherever necessary to complete the jobs within assigned time.
• Perform stage wise quality inspection on the vehicles assigned to team of technicians.
• Prepare repeat repair analysis on quality failed vehicles and recommend quality improvement method.
  
  

Operational

• Ensure to achieve set target productivity and efficiency from the team of technicians.
• Ensure to avoid repeat repairs by monitoring on every level of repair process.
• Ensure technicians time clock in/out are proper by monitoring closely on every job assignment.
• Assist technicians during work in progress to ensure assigned jobs are completed on or before time allocated.
• Monitor and guide team of Technicians, painters, Polishers and panel beaters to produce required no. of vehicles for the month.
• Perform stage wise quality inspection on the vehicles assigned to team of technicians.
• Prepare repeat repair analysis on quality failed vehicles and recommend quality improvement method.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• High school/ Automotive Technical Certification Course/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical or Electrical.
  
  

Knowledge & Skill

• Basic data entry skills in DMS.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technician role.
