To lead and supervise the Interiors Furnishing Shop in compliance with company Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), GCAA CAR Part V, and EASA Part-145 requirements while ensuring safety, quality, and efficient maintenance execution while coordinating team performance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Leads and supervise daily operations of the Interiors Equipment Shop, ensuring all interior maintenance and refurbishment activities are executed in accordance with approved technical Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data and regulatory requirements.
Plans and optimises manpower allocation based on workload demand to meet production and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
Monitors quality of workmanship and implements controls to prevent process deviations.
Reviews and verify job cards, maintenance documentation, and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Ensures availability and serviceability of tools, equipment, and materials required for operations.
Coordinates with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Stores departments.
Identifies operational gaps in resources and manpower and escalates practical recommendations to prevent disruption to production and turnaround targets.
Ensures shop equipment and special tools are calibrated, certified, and maintained in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
Supports management during internal, external, and regulatory audits.
Promotes safety culture and ensures Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance within the Interiors Workshop.
Trains, mentors, and monitors competency of assigned staff to ensure tasks are performed in accordance with approved procedures, standards, and certification requirements.
Implements continuous improvement initiatives within the shop to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensures proper housekeeping and 5S practices are maintained.
Supports management in capability development and shop readiness to meet maintenance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Formal training in aviation quality systems and safety management preferred.
Fluent in English
Minimum 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance workshops. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within MRO environment. Exposure to regulatory audits (GCAA/EASA/FAA) and MOE compliance. Strong knowledge of MOE, GCAA CAR Part V, and EASA Part-145 requirements. Ability to lead teams and manage operational risks. Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.

GCAA/EASA Part-66 License Preferred. Company authorization Preferred.
