Job Description

The Talent Development Specialist is a strategic partner within the Human Resources department, focusing on cultivating the skills and capabilities of an organization's workforce. This role is instrumental in designing and implementing talent development programs that enhance employee capabilities and align with business goals. The Talent Development Specialist works closely with various departments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement, and to foster a culture of continuous learning and development. The position requires someone with a proactive approach to learning and development, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a solid understanding of adult learning principles. The Talent Development Specialist will contribute to the growth of an organization by ensuring employees are engaged, empowered, and equipped to perform at their highest potential.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive talent development programs across various departments.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify skills gaps and development needs of employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align development initiatives with business objectives.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions using a variety of adult learning techniques.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure effectiveness and ROI.
  • Develop customized learning paths for employees at different career stages.
  • Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to enhance training delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in learning and development.
  • Analyze performance data to measure the impact of development initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners to enhance program offerings.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to employees to facilitate their professional growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on talent development progress and achievements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a talent development or similar role.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging learning programs for diverse audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital learning tools is preferred.
