We are seeking a highly driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment for large-scale sports and live events across the GCC. This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can source quality talent quickly, manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will have excellent English communication skills, exceptional sourcing capabilities, and the confidence to partner with hiring managers while delivering an outstanding recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through offer acceptance.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce requirements, and recruitment priorities.
Source, identify, and engage high-quality candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct headhunting.
Recruit for a wide range of roles supporting sports and live events, including Technical Services, Event Operations, Venue Operations, Workforce Planning, Logistics, Accreditation, Security, Transport, Infrastructure, Project Management, Engineering, HSE, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, HR, Administration, and other event delivery and corporate support functions.
Conduct candidate screenings and competency-based interviews to assess skills, experience, and overall suitability.
Prepare candidate summaries and present qualified shortlists to hiring managers.
Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Manage offer negotiations and facilitate the offer process with candidates and stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, recruitment trackers, and ATS updates.
Ensure recruitment targets and hiring timelines are achieved while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
Proactively map talent markets and identify potential candidates for future opportunities.
Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives when required.
Stay informed on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability within the sports events and major events industry.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience, preferably within a recruitment agency or high-volume recruitment environment.
Experience recruiting for sports events, major events, engineering, construction, facilities management, infrastructure, or related industries is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while working to tight deadlines.
Outstanding sourcing and headhunting skills with a proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
Smart, proactive, and quick-thinking with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent spoken and written English with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and online sourcing platforms.
Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements
Must hold a valid UAE residence visa (self-sponsored or sponsored by a spouse/family member) with the legal right to work in the UAE.
Available to join immediately or on short notice.
Willing to work outside regular business hours and on weekends when business demands require.
Able to commit to a fixed-term contract until the end of February 2027.
