Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's future by finding and integrating new talents into our team. You will work closely with hiring managers and department heads to identify current and future staffing needs and develop strategies to attract qualified candidates. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, from posting jobs and interviewing candidates to facilitating a smooth onboarding process. Your goal is to ensure that new hires feel welcomed and prepared and that they quickly become productive members of the team. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department managers to understand urgent and long-term staffing needs.
  • Design and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies and hiring processes.
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements to attract top talent.
  • Utilize various recruitment platforms and networks to source potential candidates effectively.
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate comprehensive interview processes with hiring teams.
  • Manage talent acquisition metrics and provide reports on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
  • Organize and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Develop and deliver engaging orientation programs for new employees.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and nurture relationships with talent pools.
  • Stay updated on workforce trends and adapt strategies to meet changing industry needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws in recruitment practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or similar HR role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employee onboarding practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with recruitment software and candidate management systems required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment data and inform strategic decisions.
