Job Description

The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist is a crucial member of the HR team, responsible for efficiently managing the entire recruitment and onboarding process for new employees. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for identifying and attracting top talent, as well as ensuring a seamless transition for new hires into the company. The successful candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, and collaborating with different departments to meet recruitment needs. Strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of recruitment methods, and a commitment to fostering a supportive onboarding experience are essential for success in this role. The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist will also play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with educational institutions and other sources to remain competitive in attracting skilled professionals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing requirements and job specifications.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to accurately evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit.
  • Manage the job posting process across various recruitment platforms and job boards.
  • Screen applications and resumes to shortlist potential candidates for interview.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to integration.
  • Organize orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies and culture.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system to record recruitment activities and candidate information.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Provide post-hire support to ensure successful employee assimilation and retention.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and improve hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop company employment brand and improve candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a talent acquisition or related HR role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective recruitment and onboarding strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • In-depth understanding of current recruitment methods and best practices.
