The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for executing recruitment and hiring efforts across multiple entities within the organization. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and interviewing qualified candidates to meet the organizations staffing needs. The Talent Acquisition Officer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline recruitment activities and promote the employers brand.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Recruitment Tracker Update:
Produce a revised recruitment tracker on a weekly basis.
Maintain an updated applicant tracking list for all job openings.
Monthly Workforce Planning:
Hold monthly meetings with heads of departments to discuss current openings, and align the requirements outlined in the Manpower Requisition Forms to ensure the sourcing of suitable candidates and their retention.
Market-Based Compensation Revision:
Review quarterly reports on compensation, benchmarked against the market, and highlight any significant discrepancy or challenges related to market pay.
Turnover & Retention Rate:
Work to reduce the turnover rate and improve employee retention across the group entities by taking proactive measures, participating in mentorship programs, and providing support to new hires.
Talent Acquisition Process:
Utilize various sourcing methods, e.g. job boards, social media, networking, etc.
Manage the interview process, ensuring applicants have a pleasant and welcoming experience.
Conduct interviews for both office and non-office staff and complete the interview assessment form accurately.
To effectively manage the interview process in Microsoft Office D365, initiate a recruitment project, maintain accurate applicant records, coordinate interview schedules, dispatch invitations and notifications, and ensure timely updates to evaluation forms within the ERP system D365.
Collaborate with the Head of Department to conclude interview feedback and ensure timely communication with candidates.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles
Support employer branding initiatives through career fairs, social media, and partnerships.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree or HR certification is a plus).
Proven experience (2-3 years) in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a multi-entity or group structure.
