Job Description
Position Objective:
- The Tailor provides a personal service to each client specializing in modifications and adjustments.
- The Tailor will complete repair work, and alterations, to suit a customer’s needs. The customer will then come back to the shop for a fitting and to see if further alterations are needed.
- Be able to communicate clearly and provide personal customer service.
- Have the ability to work to deadlines.
- Completing alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine
- Adapting and developing existing designs
- Drawing patterns or altering existing patterns
- Ironing garments
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a tailor or similar role preferred.
