Systems Administrator (225-618)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a highly organized individual with a robust understanding of various operating systems, networking, and IT security practices. As a Systems Administrator, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems and IT infrastructure. You should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting our business objectives and enhancing our overall IT capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of all IT systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues to prevent downtime.
• Implement and maintain security policies to protect IT systems from unauthorized access.
• Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations to safeguard information.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT staff to manage and support virtual and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance for IT team and end-users when needed.
• Install, configure, and upgrade server hardware and software systems regularly.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to operational effectiveness.
• Participate in planning and implementing IT projects that support business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and enterprise systems support.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively with minimal supervision.
