Role Overview
In this role, you will:
Proactively drive the prioritization and resource planning of Digital Technology work to support business objectives and key initiatives.
Partner with business & regional leaders to understand and ensure SLAs are met.
Work closely with multiple application teams to communicate status, establish appropriate automation and monitoring capabilities as well as disaster recovery and failover capabilities.
Keep abreast of new tools and technologies while taking part in the evaluation and recommendations for new or enhanced capabilities that could improve current platforms.
Develop technical standards, documentation and knowledge transfer for operational support including the coordination of knowledge transfer to other team members.
Complete root cause analysis of defects and implement controls to mitigate repetitive issues.
Understands, promotes and adheres to security and SoX compliance policies and process.
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
Influences within peer group.
Quickly responds and resolves critical service outages impacting consumers.
Assists with creation of automation for programmatic deployment and management of tools used in production environment.
Assists with development of solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate well with others to solve problems.

Manage day to day End User Support for the employees based in the Middle East & Africa
Manage and coordinate all Digital Workspace technology…Laptop, Mobile, Telepresence, TEAMS, Employee Onboarding and Exit
Manage all printers, MFPs, on-site Audio/Video, Customer experience and telecommunications equipment
Provide on-site support for networking infrastructure & coordinate IT infrastructure work with applicable teams.
Manage DT operations for GE Aerospace sites based on UAE
Education Qualification
For Roles Outside USA
Bachelors Degree in with basic experience.
For roles in USA: Bachelors Degree in with minimum years of experience0years
Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise
Basic knowledge of financial systems, financial close cycles and associated processes
Strong Microsoft Office skillset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of ITIL processes (certification is a plus)
Basic understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SoX)
Business Acumen
Ability to capture metrics, performance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of customers, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape solutions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines where uptime is critical
