Job Description

The Support Officer 24N25 plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various administrative and technical processes within an organization. This position is pivotal in providing expert assistance to different departments, facilitating communication, and handling routine and complex inquiries from employees and external parties. The Support Officer is expected to work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality support services that align with organizational goals. A successful candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to aiding the continuous improvement of internal workflows. The ideal applicant should also possess outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients alike, ensuring an optimal functioning environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of company administrative policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries and requests from employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support interactions, resolutions, and follow-up actions taken.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Manage scheduling and coordination of meetings, including preparing necessary materials and agendas.
  • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting IT issues and resolving technical difficulties.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental guidelines by monitoring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on administrative tools and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of reports to improve departmental performance metrics.
  • Contribute actively to team meetings and share innovative ideas for process enhancements.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to address operational needs effectively.
  • Organize and file records systematically to enhance the accessibility of important information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a support or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting larger departmental goals and objectives.
