Job Description

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the supply chain operations within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that our supply chain processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business goals. This involves coordinating with various departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to balance supply and demand successfully. You will also identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance supply chain performance. Being detail-oriented and possessing strong analytical skills will be key to driving improvements and supporting the company's growth objectives. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, contributing to our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and products.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to streamline transportation and distribution processes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production and sales demands effectively.
  • Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best terms and prices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
  • Develop risk management strategies to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track key supply chain performance indicators.
  • Implement sustainable practices to improve the environmental impact of supply chain operations.
  • Investigate and resolve supply chain issues promptly to prevent service disruptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a supply chain management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data.
  • Proven experience with supply chain software and enterprise resource planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
